In 1992, avid golfer Arthur Stollery began building a golf course on a portion of his Angus Glen Farm. Part of the original farm, which still operates, can be seen adjacent to many of the golf holes. The golf club was completed by his son Gordon Stollery and opened to the public in 1995. Gordon took his father’s vision one step further by building a community around the acclaimed Angus Glen Golf Club.

Kylemore Communities brought their tradition of “Exceeding Excellence” to the area and built a charming community of new homes and townhomes called Angus Glen East Village, followed by homes in the West Village, the resort-style condominium The 6th, and homes in Parkside East. Angus Glen Community Centre is a major focal point of the area with a library, swimming pool, skating rink and multi-use gym.

The Angus Glen Golf Club consists of two 18-hole championship golf courses in Markham, Ontario, north of Toronto. Originally a farm for Black Aberdeen Angus cattle, the South Course was completed in 1995 and the North Course in 2006. Angus Glen hosted the Canadian Open in 2002 and again in 2007.
